Universal CB36SC - 36" Chef Base

This is a good quality sturdy chef base. I use a small griddle on it and it works well. The one thing i was upset about was it cam with a small ding. It's not big but i am a perfectionist and it does bother me.

I purchased this small chef base refrigerator top for my restaurant in little italy. Our kitchen i is very small, im taking 20' x 10'. I use the chef base for cheeses and such, our over goes on top of this chafe base which is 40" wide. The is a great choice for a real heavy duty item. The design is good for my usage. The delivery was handled well. I now have this unit for about 18 months. I am happy with it and it is an important part of making my dished how i like them. This company has good people, and i like to be more successful with them. I am also writing this review because i am a returning customer, this time small 14" x 24" stainless steel wall shelf. The manufacturer of this chef base is universal coolers, i like them better than the other manufacturers / brands i have used, mainly because they are actually made in the united states. This small unit fit perfectly in our kitchen because we have such limited space. This unit also helped us save a lot of space on our line as well.The unit came up to temperature pretty fast. Overall happy with the products and service.

It was recommended to wait at least a day before putting food into it. However, it was at the proper temp within a couple hours.

I've been using this Leader chef base for two years now. I haven't had any problems out of it. It is being used on a food truck so it's a pretty extreme environment. The drawers remove easily for cleaning. I wish the temp adjustment was easier to reach (you have to remove the drawers) All in all a great product.

This chef base was a great purchase. This base is able to hold up to seven hundred pound of other equipment. I ordered the swivel casters which helped me move the item around much easier. Elite Restaurant Equipment also gave me FREE shipping. It was definitely worth it.
