Love this thunder group mortar and pestle that I saw for sale. It is very beautiful to have setting around and is actually extremely useful.
i liked this thunder group marble grinder a lot.. it reached my expectations. Its very good for spices.. we can also make green chilli paste ... its very good for that...
I live alone and eat in front of the TV most of the time. I had been using paper towels to hold my hot bowls or plates. I decided I would get this winco cloth pot holder to use and run through the washer. I was very excited about this. It imade out of silicone as stated. I can't say I was particularly surprised they shrank when washed. That is the only complaint I have. They are comfortable to hold and seem well constructed. They are certainly thick enough to protect hands, counters, or tables from heat in pots or pans.
There's not much to say about this winco pot holder. It is a brown, heat-resistant cloth on one side and white terry cloth on the other. It is thick enough to protect the surface from being overheated but are flexible enough that I can use them to get items out of the oven when the mitts are not convenient. Bought for a decent price, there are no complaints here!
Ok so it's not that pretty, but boy does this winco terry cloth mitt work! The price is good too. It handles things up to 400 degrees which is high if all you do usually is bake like me. I can move a hot broiler pan with it, so I guess it goes higher than 400 degrees for short moves. I give these to all my friends that cook a lot because of the price and because it actually WORKS!
While the winco flame resistant mitt is like the description, 17 inches long it is quite narrow, It fits my wife well, I can't really use it because my hand is too big. I guess I wont be doing any cooking.
The oven mitt serves its purpose, but when I got it, the stitching was defective and some of the quilting was basically missing. I can sew just fine, but fixing this problem would have meant taking the thing apart, fixing the quilting, then sewing the sides back together again. Thankfully i contacted elite restaurant equipment and they were nice enough to send me another mitt as a replacement.
This oven mitt is long and of good quality. Just one glove as opposed to what the picture showed (or used to show when I purchased). This was a gift to my mother for Christmas so can't comment on actual usage, but it felt thick and well-made while i was wrapping it up.
So get this, My dog ate my last oven mitt so when I had the excuse to buy a new one I wanted one that would really protect my hands this time. I ordered two of these mitts and am very impressed. With every other mitt I've ever used, some of the heat inevitably leaks through the mitt within seconds and after a minute your hand is hot if not burning. This one, by comparison, is FANTASTIC. I have never before used a glove that protects my hands so well! And it really isn't very thick but it does such a great job! It covers a good portion of my arm as well and isn't too bulky so I feel very well protected now. Highly recommend.
This is a cool little oven mitt, however its the color is a little off, not as "metallicy" as the picture leads you to believe. Constructed well and stands up well to wear and tear.
I bought several of these peelers so I could give them as gifts. I really love it for making green papaya salad. It is so easy to use, inexpensive and also easy to clean.
I help my husband by preparing the vegetables with this thunder group stainless steel peeler. I really like this simple, light, sharp stainless vegetable peeler, but cannot find them easily when I need a new one. So, I bought a bunch and, if they are still available when I get low on these, will do so again.
This handy Stainless Steel Peeler (SLKVP006) is great. This is an essential tool for any busy kitchen. No matter how many advances have been made in kitchen wares, there really is no better or more effective way to peel vegetables than with a hand-held peeler such as this one. This peeler is made of stainless steel and features a smooth double edge floating blade with a serrated blade for coring or scraping.
A couple of things to note about this cdn direct entry 2 alarm timer. the "Two Alarm" description is a little misleading. It refers to the fact that you can use it to 1) count DOWN from a set amount of time 2) count UP (to see how long something takes) The best feature is that you can directly enter the exact amount of time. e.g. if you're scanning a stack of 25 photos and you know that each takes 37 seconds, you can set the timer for 15m and 25s and walk away. The other great feature is that the timer can be placed/stored in a number of ways: 1) a hook, for hanging 2) a magnet 3) a 'standing' configuration 4) a clip
I love this CDN Infrared Gun thermometer. I use it for everything like, cooking, giving dogs baths, and of course checking for leaks in the house. I bought a second for my son. When I'm there I use it to check the temperature of the baby bottles. His friend loved it so my son asked me pick one up for him. I think I will buy a 4th one as a Christmas gift for someone. My first one is about 1 1/2 years old and still working perfect.
Our appliances are all older and I've thought on more than occasion about getting one of these. When I saw they were $26 for a pair on their site, I jumped right in. Setup is easy - just slide the switches to freezer or refrigerator, put the sensor inside, mount the Velcro, and away you go. The refrigerator does tend to alarm a bit much when the door is open for >20 seconds or so. Ideally, I'd put it in a little container of something benign like rice or dried beans. That would 'dampen' the temperature reading so it doesn't alarm when the door is open for a few seconds. The only thing I haven't liked is the suction cup. It simply doesn't stick to a cold surface for very long. I took mine off and tucked the sensor in to a crevice on the fridge. For the deep freeze, I just let it dangle down through the top door.
This CDN Audo Visual Freezer Alarm Clock works great for a top load freezer. The freezer alarm works exactly as described. The beeping alarm, while not real loud, can easily be heard in the hallway outside the closed door of my utility room. I substituted velcro for the stick-on mounting pad supplied. That will make it easier for the yearly battery change.
Why waterproof...well ill tell you why. i dropped my old timer into a pot of water and let's just say it was never the same since that incident. I did not want to risk it again so i decided to go with this simple CDN Waterproof time clock. Item is as described and i have tested it, trust me!
I am happy with this CDN 2-event timer and clock. I wanted a second digital timer for cooking and baking use and it has worked fine for me. It is also loud, and that is a good thing!
Needed a basic timer for cooking. This CDN Loud Alarm Timer seems to work just great. Had no issues so far and its been about 4 months.
This little winco mechanical timer is a masterpiece of elegant simplicity. It is solid and compact, the alarm is good and loud, and its mechanical and old school like me... Excellent product and value.
This is a great little timer and clock. As a teacher, I can use it in my classroom during many different activities.
We went through several timers before finding this CDN extra big one. Some do too much and are too complicated. Yes, a simple timer too complicated. On one, we couldn't figure out how to clear unused time. This one is simple and easy to figure out, a welcome relief in the morass of electronic complexity.
This CDN timer is just as described. It's easy to use, the numbers are highly visible and the sound is definitely loud enough. If I had to give a complaint I would say that because the timer doesn't turn off by itself the loud noise can be annoying until you make it back to the kitchen. If that's a problem, put it in your pocket and keep it with you.
This is my first digital kitchen timer. I have been using a mechanical timer but it broke after only a year or so of use. Compared to the mechanical timer, I like this far more. The quality of the plastic and the built are better than you'd find in other products. For me, it's very acceptable. This timer is also quite easily pocket able. Operation is easy enough that you can skip the instruction. It has a minute button and a hour button and the number only goes up, not down. The Timer uses one AAA alkaline battery, which is not included. I'm planning to use rechargeable battery. The alarm makes short beeps about every second and goes for about 30 seconds. It's loud enough in my pocket and that's the way I use it. Since it's small enough, there's no excuse leaving it in the kitchen. This is a timer with simplest function for the cheapest price. If you need more functions, this is probably not a good choice. If you are used to mechanical timer, this will give you more than you need.
