This unit was great because it comes with fuel holders which were very important (I believe all the Thunder Group ones do). It also comes with a water dish, chafing dish and everything else you need to start it up. It is easy to maintain and clean as well. The shipping time was fast even for my big order.

5 qt was not big enough for me, 8 qt is the standard size. I returned this one and upgraded to the 8 qt instead. They took an exchange without any hesitation, I will be sure to recommend them and to buy again!

This item is a little less expensive than the others. But overall it is still a good buy, easy to clean and gets the job done.

I purchased 2 of these chafers for a party I was hosting at home. They worked very well at keeping my food warm and were the perfect size. They are a little pricey - but work well for the price.

When I called, I explained that I needed something plug and play and cost effective. The rep, told me to get this unit and so I went online and ordered it. I had it by my doorstep in 5 days. That is what I call service!

The reason why I purchased this unit was because of the defogger - basically the door is always open in my store, and I am in a hot/humid climate (Florida) - I needed something that wouldn't fog up constantly, and this unit does the job well. The shipping process was also easy, as I never did freight before, and these guys made it a piece of cake (got inside delivery for an extra $149.99).

I have a cafe and wanted to somewhat replicate Starbucks and this was a good start. Turbo Air is always a good pick for open merchandisers and the dimensions fit my area exactly. It has a really cool modern design which I love and also keeps the items really chilled. Great customer service as well, I called them several times before I ordered.

Have to love the wood. They also stock these units (I believe they are European) - which was great because I had it within 3 days of purchase. It was shipped the same day, which you rarely see anymore. Thanks Elite!

This unit is beautiful and certainly reignited my overall atmosphere. The wood looks great and its capacity is also suitable for large volume. The pans are standard gelato pans. It also has a curtain in the back which is great when it is not being used.

Gelato in the summer = quick lift for any cafe! This unit is cost effective and one of the few left of its kind. I got this item in all white though, not this green color. When I was checking out the rep asked me which color I prefer.

I had this unit for over 7 years and have had it serviced … NEVER !!! Thats how good it is and not problematic at all! I just opened my second shop and got another set of these. The red accent is also really pleasing.

I am the purchasing manager for PF Chang's China Bistro in Manhattan, NY. Elite restaurant equipment is one of the business we work with for our restaurant equipment purchasing. This 1 stainless steel solid door commercial freezers is a very application in our commercial kitchen. It comes with 3 shelves per door, but we purchase extra to maximize the space inside the freezer. This item has wheels which helps us clean up under it. After initially turning this reach in freezer in it takes an hour for the refrigeration Freon to kick in. After that the temperature gets lower and holds at around 0°F. This reach in freezer works on a condensing unit which means when the temperature is too cool the compressor turns off, and in contrary once it gets to hot the compressor turns on. This model has the compressor mounted in the bottom, although i have heard top mounted compressors circulate the air better. Any how this model works great for us and our relationship with Elite restaurant equipment continues to grow.

These guys work very closely with this company and they were able to change up a couple of things in this unit. There was a longer than average lead time, but I expected it and they warned me. (2 weeks)
